Designed and created by Alex Agricola, founder of Black Raven Armoury & The Black Raven Academy. This Deluxe full pattern set comes as a detailed digital download. Complete with full instructions, full Norse Art knotwork, as well as scaled detailed files for you to create your own life-size version multiple sizes. We've also added pattern files (pictured) so you can print at home on a home printer OR email the file off to any number of online large format print providers.

Tools Needed:
Polly Mallet, Hammer for setting rivets, 1/8 inch (3mm) Punch or Drill, 3/32 inch (2mm) Punch or Drill, Sharp knife, Adjustable Stitch Groover, 2/0 Blunt needles, Rivet Setters to match rivets, No. 3 Edge Beveller, Anvil or hard surface,
Decorating tools Optional - Embossing stamps, Swivel Knife
Leather
Main Body use 9oz (3.2mm) Veg Tan or for SCA armours 13 oz Veg Tan
You will need a Shoulder or Side
For the buckle and strap ends – and some of the scales – 6oz (2mm) leather is ideal. You willneed a piece 40x22 inches (100x55cm).
Suede
Ideally you will want a piece of 5–6 oz (1.6–2mm thick) suede, 16x36 inches (40x90 cm)
Rivets : In the following sizes:–
300 x 7mm rivets + caps • 150 x 10mm rivets • 70 x 12mm rivets + caps • 30 x 15mm rivets + caps200 x dome caps.
For SCA armour use solid Burr Over Rivets
Buckles : 10 x ¾ inch (19mm) buckles.
D-Rings: 2 x 2 inch (50mm) D-Rings.
Thread, Dye Glue
